July 2018

Altrusa International of Marianna's program meeting for July featured Brent Patrick, COO of Gulf Coast Children's Advocacy Center. Brent explained that the Center's Mission is to protect and enhance the quality of life for victims of sexual violence and child abuse in our community. Since March of 2000, the Gulf Coast Children's Advocacy Center has transformed the lives of these victims by offering a refuge for the victims and their families to cope with these terrible crimes while reducing the fear and further trauma that disclosure and investigation often creates. GCC operates on the fundamental belief that the best interests of the victim should be protected. Gulf Coast Children's Advocacy Center provides a compassionate alternative to traditional investigations. For further information visit their website at www.gulfcoastcac.org.
